Description
Domain user's privilege is reported as Guest in the SLtrace file
When viewing the diagnostic trace file, the user's domain level privilege is reported as Guest instead of User or Admin.

Cause
If the trace file reports the user's Domain Level Privilege as Guest, this could be an indication that one or both of the following conditions exist:
1. Default group membership for the Domain Users group has been altered.
2. The machine is seen as being "OFF_Network" within KACE Desktop Authority.

Resolution
RESOLUTION 1:
If using Desktop Authority version 10 and up, check the SLTrace.htm file to see if the machine shows up as "OFF_Network". If the machine is connected to the domain it should show "ON_Network".
If the machine shows OFF_Network but is on the Domain then view this KB Article.
RESOLUTION 2:
The Domain Users global group should be a member of the Built-in local Users group by default. To change or verify these settings:
Open Active Directory Users and Computers. Select the built-in container. On the right pane, double-click on the Users group and select the Members tab. Add the Domain Users group and apply the changes.
